I think we're saying the same thing. Ford won't schedule all rollover orders in the next month or two because of the allocations. There are rollovers that won't be built and delivered for months because they allocations aren't open.
What I'm saying is that my dealer had enough allocation to cover rollovers. They didn't take any new customer MY24 orders at all, only rollovers.

Nothing stopping ford from allocating the rest of those trucks over the next two months, as they said they plan to do. Ford can always allot more vehicles to the dealer at a later date.

Wonder if they're gonna knock out the rest of the rollovers once and for all? Should be able to build ~25k trucks over a two month period (if the dates hold)
Due to dealer allocations, there is bound to be rollovers waiting into next year to get scheduled.

Also, out of those ~25k builds we don't know how many will be allocated to retail orders and how many will go to fleet or dealer stock orders.

How many rollovers does your dealer have? If they have received enough allocations to cover the rollovers then they should all be scheduled already, except from any orders that have constraints.

Could, but allocations probably prevent that. If a dealer had a whole year's worth of rollovers, Ford isn't going to give them that supply (nor would a dealership want to have to deal with potentially a few dozen to triple digits of order deliveries at once). Would be a pleasant surprise if they did though...
Please tell me why a dealer would not want vehicles to sell. That ounds ludicrous.

At this point screw the allocations. Ford has disappointed way too many people and the longer they wait the less respect and trust they will have for Ford in the future[/

Ford has only done two MY24 scheduling runs, I don't think they would all be allocated yet. They're still working through them all.

It's not more to sell - it's the same number they were always going to sell as they're allocated a set amount from Ford for the whole year. You don't want all of your sales coming in within the same month or two, then you'd have no income for that vehicle model the rest of the year.

Having them spread out helps keep your balance sheet consistent. And if some one is sick of waiting and walks away from their order later in the year, then you now have a vehicle for your lot you can markup.

Rollovers will be hanging out for years to come. It's because of the demented allocation system that Ford uses and I don't agree with and/or understand..
