There is a rhythmic grinding and squealing sound that my front brakes make when applying gentle pressure at low speeds. I brought the truck into the dealership three times to attempt to have it fixed. The first time they said nothing was wrong. The second time they adjusted the brakes and the noise went away for a few hours. The third time they replaced the front brake rotors and pads. The issue went away for a week and I thought this was finally the resolution. Sure enough the issue has returned yet again. The dealership has told me they have done everything they can do and that I should wait until Ford comes out with a fix based on national data. I have also recently noticed that my truck shakes a bit when accelerating. Seems as though the shaking issue is getting worse with time.
SO FRUSTRATING.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Once the 'Ford Motor Company' member gets involved, we seem to never hear about a solution. Can either the OP or Ford post the results please?

Thank you.

It's just an attempt to collect data and then they tell you to go to your local dealer. They are useless here. The only other thing they do is complement on picture threads. Just ignore them.

I have had the exact same noise with my 2022 Maverick XLT (2.0L). Light application of brakes causes a loud brushing noise (almost sounds like wet rubber rubbing against itself). It is rhythmic and coincides with wheel RPM.

I brought it into the dealer twice, and they couldn't figure it out. In fact, they also told me to wait for TSB's to come out.

I ended up replacing all the pads and rotors myself with a complete cleaning and lubrication job....had no effect. So I have been living with it since, but the truck sounds like a piece of junk.

Past few months there is a high pitched squeak from front left wheel during normal driving....it increases or disappears if I apply light pressure to the steering wheel left or right.

I have a third dealer appointment this Monday to diagnose and repair. I'm thinking a bad wheel bearing...if I can't get them to replace it under warranty. I'll do it myself anyways.

Check the run-out on the hub/rotor using a dial indicator. I had the same issues as you, and my hub was out of spec. I was able to get the dealer to verify and replace the entire hub under warranty.....problem solved.
