Spirit is wavering with Hybrid OKTB not coming until December…

Is anyone else crushed by the news for the hybrid OKTB? Had high hopes for getting before thanksgiving as mine was 9/20 production week. Now knowing I might now get it until the new year is tough. Gf is pushing for looking elsewhere

Im not in dire need but definitely wanted a truck this fall and know my current vehicles value is depreciating pretty quickly.

People have been saying 4-6 months since the beginning, only a lucky few will get their vehicle in the fall, most will be waiting till Jan/Feb at the earliest.

Honestly, unless you are willing to spend another $6k-$10k you probably will not get something as good a value as the Maverick anyway.

CX-3? We had a CX-5 we sold to Carvana. Did quite well but it was almost still new.
Don't know your situation with the CX-3 but have you seen the Maverick in person yet? If not, find one at your dealer. Take your GF. I think you'll want to wait after getting a first hand look. I did last night. Even though I still do not have a build date. I'm convinced more than ever to wait it out.
You might now not get till late this year, but if you see one in person, I'm sure you'll wait it out.

I asked dealer about my hybrid Maverick that I was seeing people driving around town on videos on youtube:

Drat I'm without a stable car I lent my tenant money to buy an 04 toyota thinking I would have pretty much full access to the truck but he's using it as his main vehicle. I screwed up and sold my honda element (they kept stealing it's converters) but I talked to a guy who said he could have put some rebar under the converter for $100 or so and I could have kept it till I got my truck ughhh.
