[Hybrid Nut]

Wow its great seeing all the replies and hearing all the stories.. Anyway 66 here with a 22 XL silver hybrid. Waited 11 months. Got 15k on it now and havent had a bit of trouble. Awesume mileage around town. And I guess mid to upper 30's on the highway aint bad either. Kept my full size truck for the heavy hauling when i have any. First vehicle i ever paid cash for so im happy.!!

I’m 71. My Maverick is a 22 Lariat AWD lux package, copilot 360, Cactus Gray. Currently 24K miles.

Exact same build here on the Ohio river. 6500K

Motorcycles and age don’t go well together. Years ago, a 50-something CEO I worked for had to have and bought a Harley. Mid-life crisis. He laid it down almost immediately. Broken foot, only damage fortunately.

Age means slowing reflexes. Drove a cycle all over Malaysia in 1970-72. What fun. And cheap transportation while I was in the Peace Corps. At 75 today, I wouldn’t get near a cycle.

But love my Mav XLT hybrid.

We don't bounce as good as we used to, huh?

70 here. I bought my 22 XLT EB Lux AWD the same day I started looking for one (10/21/21). It was on the dealer lot, having just been refused because the wife of the guy who ordered it decided she didn't like Velocity Blue. Paid MSRP with no gimmicks or add-ons while other folks were calling the dealership about it.

The Maverick replaced a paid-off 2014 Wrangler Rubicon and a 1969 Corvette so there was no financing needed. It recently turned over 10K miles.

For fun, there's the 1993 Lightning and the 1968 Cougar XR-7 GT. We gave up the motorcycles when we started our family, planning to go back when the kids were old enough to not need us but then cell phones and distracted drivers put that plan to bed.

Love the Cougar. 302?

alexander 01 maverick lariat hybrid with all the bells and whistles ordered 23 months ago but not here yet still waiting ...did find lariat hybrid new on dealer lot purchased it in may 23 ..love it but still want my top of line..just had to share and also am probable oldest to respond will be 87 in dec good luck to all you young mav owners...

I'm most likely the oldest on the forum at 79. I drove off the lot on 1/6/22 and have put on a whopping 1,800 miles so far. It's a wonderful truck and my only regret is it's come 20 years late for me!

You loose the bet. I'm probably not the oldest, but close. I picked up my Mav when I was 90yr, 5mo and 12 days old. I'm now 91 plus and drive my Red Barron to all my doctors appointments. Nice truck!
