Finally….Here it is unloaded 6 hours ago. I can get it tomorrow, still in the wrapper with all stickers on the glass and interior plastic. I did buy the dealer a new microfiber mop and microfiber sponge to wash it with, so I can make sure of no dents or scratches. It looks perfect so far. Now let’s get a stop sale recall or something overnight. It’s been a fun journey. The new wheels arrived as well so maybe on by weeks end. They already received my check for it last Friday so no chance of getting sold to someone else.

- How do I make sure my dealer doesn't sell it to someone else?
- Any different checks you'd do besides just looking at the exterior through and through?
- Ford is not offering any good financing rate on Mavericks right?

Shop rates. My CU was was 5.5%/84. A far cry from the 2.39%/84 from last year. You must shop around. I have no idea what Ford is offering but the dealer said they could not touch my rate at any term. So I had the check cut last week and delivered last Friday before the truck even hit the lot. I have communicated with them a lot too. As far as inspection, look it all over. If anything is an issue, note it on the "we owe" form, even if its a tire out of balance. For selling to someone else, some dealers are dishonest and chase the dollar. I cannot help you there.

But I shopped Local CU's one was 7.48% for 84, another was 7.09%/84, dealer was 6.79% and my CU was was 5.5%/84. A far cry from my EV that is 2.39%/84 from last year. You must shop around. Every dealer has one. It’s supposed to be “we owe” you nothing after you buy it. There was nothing listed on Mine. Smooth as silk on the road and the truck is perfect.

They did listen to me and did exactly what I requested. When I saw it off the truck it was filthy and covered in dust. I wanted to make sure it was not hiding anything, they only used my Microfibers to wash it and no dressings afterwards. The sheet metal is perfectly straight, I could not find any dust bunnies and there were a few tiny “rusty“ looking spots on the hood and one mark (turned out to be glue or something) on a lower door that polished out with a microfiber and some polishing compound. I bought a can of $6 TW polishing compound and a sleeve of microfibers on my test drive. This weekend it will get a full wash, polish and coating (have not decided yet between Graphene or Ceramic). Here is a shot of the gloss on the hood. Contrary to what some folks say, I have had 4 cars made in the Mexico plant (two Mach Es and 2 Mavericks) and have found the paint flawless on all of them. All this for $23,475.

they use a machine to wash at my place. i said i might just ask for a rinse off to inspect everything, but i don't need them to introduce more problems with an improper hand wash. maybe i will bring some waterless wash to inspect suspicious things better. i have an appointment with a detailer 2 weeks after delivery.
