Just got the call my 2025 XL Hybrid AWD 4K in Desert Tan is ready for pick up!! Woot woot! Pick up tomorrow afternoon 5/23/2025.

I'm so excited!!

I know it's not all tricked out but hoping it just the right amount of truck for me. First truck I've ever bought too!
I think out the door is going to be right at $35K with the employee pricing.

Took a bit longer to get these posted. But here it is!!! Very happy with it so far!! A bit of a learning curve with the hybrid and remembering I will not hear the starter cranking when I turn the key.

The truck is pretty basic XL, AWD, Hybrid with 4K tow, 360 ver. 1, Synch 4 with EVR. Floor mats, bed mat, spray in bed liner, black textured bug deflector, tailgate lock on order.

Traded a 2010 Toy Yaris w/ 200K+ miles, damaged windshield, and road debris damage to nose. Only got $500: 15 years, 200K miles, trained 3 kids how to drive a manual transmission, but I definitely got my money's worth out of it

Side notes: The tow package didn't come with a ball and mount, is that normal?
There seems to be a metal clip bolted to the tailgate that forms a c-shape over the passenger hinge point. Is this a new security item for keeping the tailgate from getting stolen? If it is a security thing, do I still need the clamp on security part from Ford?
There are like 3 computer boxes behind the back seat now. Seems like a lot, any ideas what those are for?
I thought I read that Synch 4 included navigation, but is that only for higher model levels?

Anyway, first new vehicle in many years. Nice to have something fresh and solid feeling again. Woot Woot!!!

Normal.

The Ford accessory is a glorified pipe clamp with a security head on the bolt. Maybe not useless since it is one more step someone would have to go through, but the best thing you can do is keep the tailgate locked. Easier said than done if you don't have the powered tailgate lock.

At least one of them is the trailer brake controller that your 4K package came with.
