You've helped another person, thank you. I left my HAG module in its original location - I didn't move it inside the engine compartment as you suggested, I just rerouted the harness to it. Why'd you choose to move the whole module? It looks to be tucked so far up in the fender that it didn't seem like it would be at risk from tire rubbing.I'm going to do writeup on the main board specifically about rerouting the harness if going lower than Eibachs. It will help exactly two people and piss off 200.
Happy to help. I relocated the HAG basically because one of the mounts broke due to my tire touching it on a few big bumps. Your mileage may vary, but keep an eye on it.You've helped another person, thank you. Mines the same too, could only get rear 3/4" lower than the eibach springs I had on before. Im out of adjustment and preload in the rear, plenty in the front though. Are you AWD? I figured that was the difference on mine.I keep looking around, seems as if those of you with standard silvers get the rear lower than mine. im as far down in back as i can be.
I can fit 3 fingers between fender/tire.
Barely 2 up front

yes awd as well. and I did the same right before this pic. I still love it thoughMines the same too, could only get rear 3/4" lower than the eibach springs I had on before. I did go back after I adjusted them and Loosen every rear suspension bolt and retighten with suspension loaded, it helped minutely
@Big Smitty, I just want to be clear - for the rear, turn which collars to load up the spring? The collars on the shock body, or the collars on the spring perch piece (not sure what it's called) which are in contact with the spring? From another post, I'd epxect it's the shock body, but I want to be sure.Yes. Disconnect lower shock bolt. Adjust the spring to ride height then lower or raise the shock using the collars till it lines back up to reinstall the bolt. Once installed , turn the collars five rounds up to load the spring.
The threaded part with the spring is where you adjust to get your ride high. Make surly the bolt is out of the bottom of the shock, once you have your ride high set loosen or tighten the collar on the shock till it lines back up so you can install bolt back in freely. Once installed then turn the collar on shock body 4-5 complete turns to add load to the spring.@Big Smitty, I just want to be clear - for the rear, turn which collars to load up the spring? Also for the rear, the threaded adjuster with collars which is in contact with the spring, is that adjuster installed below the spring or above it?
Sorry to invade your thread @daddio211 with these questions. I want to make sure I have the details right before starting the install. Would have been nice for Silver's to maybe include a hints/tips sheet or something.
No worries at all, this is all about educating each other! Also for the rear, the threaded adjuster with collars which is in contact with the spring, is that adjuster installed below the spring or above it?

@Big Smitty - The instructions you gave make sense for the front, but not the rear. Am I still misunderstanding? I still haven't adjusted mine. The threaded part with the spring is where you adjust to get your ride high.
