the downpipe feeds from the back of the turbocharger into the rest of the exhaust.

since a hybrid maverick doesn't have a turbocharger, it doesn't have a downpipe, either.

Basically the same thing as a head pipe coming off of a manifold going to the cat (reversed in the Hybrids though). But not much in gains to be had on a non turbo hybrid exhaust.

My jeep 4.0 straight six has a downpipe. It is sold and described as such. It just goes down from the manifold. These are technically turbo downpipes.

a downpipe isn't the same as an exhaust manifold. both engines have exhaust manifolds but only one of them has a downpipe, because as I said it is only on turbocharged engines.

Fully aware that both have manifolds. Never said one didn't. The hybrid manifold and cat are one piece. The head pipe bolts to the cat, doing basically the same job as a down pipe. No point in replacing this head pipe in the hybrid, as there would be no gains.
