Did you get to the bottom bolt from the top? Oh where at from the bottom. I've been looking for that damn nut since last night and can't see or feel it. I'm utterly lost lol

These are the 3 bolts and how i got to them that hold the dp to the turbo. 2 from the top, 1 from the bottom

It took me about 7 hours to do the downpipe and cat back. That seems somewhat normal for these trucks. I was spoiled by Subarus in the past.

any protips? just ordered mine.

Yes, battery and battery tray, I believe it's 3 or 4 - 10mm bolts

Did anyone remove the drive shaft??
I can't seem to get to the bottom bolt. The top two can be accessed from the top but bottom one I can't get to even with the special ratcheting wrench that was linked in this thread.
So pissed.

On my second install I was actually able to get all 3 bolts from the top, pics were hard to take but with the intake out you can actually get decent leverage on a wrench from the top

Second install?? Was that swapping out an oem cat or aftermarket? I can see having more space and access with an aftermarket.
I'll try this again when my arms heal from all the cuts and scrapes.

Lol, this was an oem cat I installed a prototype once, re installed oem then installed the finished product so 3 installs 2 removals I circled where I had the wrench in my terrible pic

7 hours is pretty safe, I did the downpipe and buttoned up some wiring misc. In about 8

How were you able to install the o2 Sensor? We can't seem to figure out how people are doing it on the Fast Mav Downpipe since there doesn't seem to be any room between the DP and the heat shroud....
