Yeah, I got tired of the %#$* horn going off when the panic button would get pushed while key fob was in my pocket!
Ordered the zip up case off Amazon. Completely encloses the fob. Horn has not gone off since. While I don't have access to the buttons easily, I have never used them anyway........

You can easily take the fob apart and just remove the button clicker from the inside then put it back together. That's what I did. X-Acto knife to cut the silicon housing on one side, remove the clicker, seal the cut with some clear silicon (not necessary) and no more panic button. FOB still looks exactly the same on the outside. Taking it apart is very easy. It's just plastic clips and there are tons of YT videos on them.

But the cases, for me, not fond of them.

I've never been fond of silicon/rubber things in my pockets. Collects lint and always seems to try and pull my pocket with it when they come out lol. I've used a Tec-P7 Clip for a long time now. Hated the bulky FORD key fob at first but I learned to work with it and keep it simple:

You'd be surprised what one motivated person can do with small amounts of information.

And if you've ever seen the lengths of legal battles that take place in identity theft cases - you'd quickly understand how much of a joke our system of personal identity truly is. I personally had to go through it for 3 years. Pretty scary being told I have outstanding bench warrants in a state I had never been in and all kinds of debt. It's gotten better now, but the info is not hard to come by. Just takes a little effort and time connecting the dots.

It's actually amazing how many people have admitted they never lock their doors either at home or for their vehicle... just on this forum alone I've seen people that truly believe they are that safe.
