Your safe at my house as long as you don't splash her with water.

I don't get the tag blurring thing either. Got to figure a lot more folks see your tag riding around every day than a couple of folks online talking about a vehicle. But hey you do you.

For those with a key model, I found this one which matches the Atlas blue.

It's actually amazing how many people have admitted they never lock their doors either at home or for their vehicle... just on this forum alone I've seen people that truly believe they are that safe.

Complacency kills.

anyways...

Sometimes it isn't about complacency, it's just strategy. I live in what used to be the middle of nowhere. I never lock a vehicle or take the keys out of them.

Before I was born, back in the 60's, a guy killed a cop in the middle of the night in the next town over 5 miles away. A manhunt ensued that ended up at our neighbors place. It was a widower and her two young daughters. The cops were going around pulling keys out of rigs at every farm they could to stop him from getting away. While they were at my Grandpa's farm the neighbor lady called my Grandparents house asking him to come over because someone was trying to kick their door in. Turns out the cop killer was trying to get in to get keys to the car. Cops rushed over (mile or so away) and found the killer on the floor of their car trying to hit wire it. His hands weren't working to well as it was January, below zero, and he'd crawl through a couple creek bottoms while trying to run. He was arrested and from what I've been told was executed by the state many years ago.

Since then, we lock the house, but not vehicles. It's just a car. It's not worth the risk of some psycho wanting into the house to get keys. Just take the car and get the hell out of here.

I’ve had these on all my new car remote fobs to keep them from getting scratched up from other keys in my pocket. Same purpose as I have a cover on my phone.
