I am getting Iconic silver, or white. I enjoy the "plane jane - fleet look" honestly. I just want a color that doesnt look too dirty all the time. I wish they had a beige color lol.

I agree with blending in, the so called "grey man" look. Standing out from the crowd isn't necessarily a good thing given our chaotic world.

A work in progress for sure. Still more stuff to come. Just need more good weather and nice weekends. Stuff left to do is Orange handles, Speakers, Rear Sway Bar, Light Bar wiring. Almost all my orange removed. lol

Have you noticed any improvement in mileage with the tailgate spoiler?

Thank you for the response but the letters look black to me although I think there is some chrome around the edges? Not sure what I might be missing?

it’s just the way the natural light is hitting the letters. Most of the time they look chrome. I just took this new picture and you can see they look chrome in this one.

Ha, good eye, it was a cheap pickup from Walmart and actually has wood grain accents on the front so it's flipped backwards. Just grabbed it the day after getting the truck to preserve the wheel.

This is the closest I can find to what I bought:

Here’s my two month old 2023 Iconic Silver Metallic XL Hybrid. In my obviously biased opinion, Iconic Silver is the most under rated Maverick color.

I know it is a low end economy truck, but I plan to treat it like an expensive truck and keep it as new looking as I can for as long as I can. My primary use for the truck is a bicycle hauler, with homeowner hauling being its second purpose in life.

I think it’s a great looking truck, better than many vehicles that cost twice as much or more. I’m very pleased with the drive, ride, and functionality. As for value, I feel like I stole it!

A little more about my Maverick -

The only extra cost factory option on it is a hitch receiver.

I’m averaging 44 MPG, per the dashboard. So probably 42 to 43 actual. Suburban driving, no city. But no interstate either. Best trip MPG was 51 MPG on a 11 mile trip. I’m still on my first tank of gas so I can’t hand calculate.

Upgrades and accessories:

Smartliner floor mats, front and rear.
RocBlokz mud flaps.
Adam's graphene ceramic coat.
Two bed cubbies.
Two bed tie downs and two D-rings.
Dash cams front and rear.
Low profile USB stick for music.
Power lock for the tailgate.
12v power point in cubby door.
Silicone seat belt buckle wraps

Future: Line-X spray in bed liner (2024).
Maybe: XLT or Bronco wheels (only if I find a well priced set).

I agree with you on the color. My first Mav was Iconic Silver. When I ordered my 23, I ordered the Alto Blue but almost changed it back to Silver. Kept it as blue, and am glad I did, but the silver is probably my second favorite.

Iconic silver XL's need inexpensive plastic ( not metal ) beauty rings from Amazon. They completely hide the ugly wheel weights. I covered the metal clips with grippy tape so they won't scratch the paint when removed.
