I have never had good luck with Carvana. I had a 2008 Ranger I was selling with 205K on it (but running great-I bought new and took care of it). They offered $500! I sold quickly on a community Facebook site for $1500.
Carvana, and the others (Vroom etc.) make there money on financing the vehicle. They are looking for vehicles a few years old with low mileage, that people want to buy. They can't sell a vehicle with 200K miles that's 15 years old and resell it with a "If you don't like it, bring it back warrantee," which they all have.

Seems it was coming with dealers that were selling stock units for $10K mark up just a couple of months ago now selling for $5K mark up.....seems early next year there will be plenty around and you might find them for below msrp

My independent insurance agent told me that at least one of the companies he sells policies for uses nadaguides.com for "totaled" pricing.
That link now takes you to the pricing site at JD Power> https://www.jdpower.com/cars
It shows current average trade-in & retail prices in your ZIP Code.

My out the door was $29,392.65 (taxes & fees)
My MSRP was $28,050.00

I am in Maine. Carvana used to pay a lot more for everything but recently they had a Maine office close down/pull out & naw they pay a lot less.

Anecdotal to your Maverick and your area but yes, in general a 1.5 year old (basically 2 model years old) Maverick with what I'm guessing is 15-20k miles on it will no longer fetch a premium.

Do to price protections and price increases from Ford a similarly equipped (less the decontented options) 2024 Maverick to my 2023 Maverick costs a full $7,200 more than my vehicle cost me.

For that reason I feel pretty insulated from any market drop off. I don't plan on selling my Tremor anytime soon but when I do I assume it will hold its value very well.

All things are relative. New MAV dealer is offering $2500 for my 08 F150, Carvana offered $2900, CarMax offered $5400. Sold. Depends on where you are, when you try to sell, etc…. There is no one good place and others are bad. Instant sale to these kinds of places offers a money value of time or hassle over seller to an individual if that is not your thing. If you want to sell directly and get more $’s, then do that. Cool, either way. I don’t have the time, patience or inclination to that. I have the skill set and know the process. Just don’t want to. Everybody do it the way that works best for them.

All these prices are based on MMR. MMR is still really high, report is from mid July. Carvana is lowballing all of you. The prices they offer have been sliding due to the company on verge of bankruptcy.

Yep. They can only fluff equity with new shares for so long. They differed via PIK. Bankruptcy will happen. The question is how long do they have.

These quotes are based on MMR (Manheim Market Report). Every dealer in USA base offers on just that. It used to be dealers buy cars for under MMR. Since covid they buy for MMR and flip for $$ on top of that. Carvana is dead. You will get higher offers from local dealers or wholesalers that can send your car to Manheim auction.

no i mean the Maverick they were SELLING dropped from $43XXX to $39XXX in just the last week. So prices are going down across the board.

dealer near me had had a mav for 3 months now and has dropped the price quite a bit (still overpriced for an XL) but these arent selling for over MSRP that easily anymore. I was able to get a lariat tremor off the lot for MSRP with about 5 min of negotiation

I agree somewhat. It depends on market. Hybrids seem to be doing slightly better than Eco boosts.

How do you have a build date on a 24 already? First 24 scheduling is not supposed to happen until tomorrow.
My dealer gave me the info before the email was sent out
