You can use it to wire 12v accessories into the bed's power access point. Things like LED bed lighting, additional power ports, etc.

It is a pigtail with a male plug that fits into the female plug that is on each side of bed near the tailgate. Furnished so you won't splice into some wire you shouldn't use.

My 24 Lariat Hybrid I got a couple of weeks ago did not have that wire anywhere in any of the storage compartments in the cab. Anyone know if the Hybrids are supposed to get these wires too?

Not really sure about the 24my but every other year got them. Did you look under the back seat?

actuality the lariat may already be wired for accessories in the bed, so you would not have gotten or needed it.

I got one in my 24 Lariat delivered three weeks ago. It was in the glove compartment.

Yep looked there too. The only place I just thought of that I haven’t looked is in the cubbies in the bed. I will look there tomorrow

If you had dealer add options, it. May have been packaged with that. Not sure as it's been too long but I think I remember mine being in a plastic sack with my tail gate anti theft clamp keyed socket and my wheel lock socket. Sack had my factory lug nuts that the locking lug nuts replaced. (Dealer didn't keep those!!).

I got mine off the lot so I didn’t order it. But it did have factory floor liners the dealer had already installed. I think I will be contacting my dealer and ask about it.
