Fordpass now says "Activate Vehicle" -- good sign?

I downloaded the Ford pass app on my phone in anticipation of some day getting my truck. Since then, until today it stated it could not find my vehicle or something like that. Today, it says Activate Vehicle. I did not do it. Should I do it?? Maybe blow the horn a few times to get their attention to ship the darn thing? LOL.

At any rate, I take it this is a good thing, right???

In case any of you are wondering, I am getting antsy to get this truck since going without a truck since May 8, 2023 a day that will haunt me for some years to come.

Hahahaha, my wife is like don't go on that app again!!!!!!!! Don't do it!! I shall take all this as a good sign. LOL.

It just means it’s built but you can’t activate until you are able to access the vehicle to allow pairing.
I already had FordPass app from previous vehicles and added the Maverick as soon as I had a VIN but didn’t get the activate option until after it was built and waiting for shipping. Mine is 300 miles away and I’m antsy as well

Don't recall how to do it. But you can check if the modules are active. Sounds like they are. Means should ship soon!

I did it for mine. Failed to activate for the first couple of days with a vague error message. Eventually it went through to the point where it would put the prompt on the screen in the vehicle for approval.

It just won't let you activate, I think most of us have been there. I know mine is in a railyard here in my city waiting to be delivered to the dealership. I've tried to "activate it" and it pretty much says "you need to take delivery of your car before you can activate it"

After a year (for me) the anticipation is just too much to not click on that button.

When mine hit the dealership lot, the day before I could go pick it up, I WAS able to activate it from my phone, and it got me to the point where the screen said to choose "activate" on the screen in the truck, which of course I couldn't do, but SOMEONE did, later that day, and my phone let me know in Ford Pass that it was live. I was SOOOOO tempted to lock and unlock the thing remotely, or sound the horn just to freak someone the heck out, but I refrained.

Just this morning I was exploring the "activate" option as my Mav has been at the dealer since Sat. but I won't be picking it up until tomorrow afternoon.

I did not know I needed access to the vehicle so I tried to activate and now the activate message is sitting on the screen in the truck.

I'll deal with it tomorrow if someone at the dealership doesn't hit it for me.
