Each headlight costs $1000+ to replace so if I can do something to make em last longer I will

OK you turned off DTRL, but why?
I didn't turn them off. They have never been on.

I am glad I do not have them turned on because I do not like sticking out to typically white vehicles sitting along interstates and highways.

For some reason, a segment of American's are hellbent on being less safe whenever possible.
Less safe? How is not having them less safe?

Before answering my question here is my background, I am a 20+ year crash reconstructionist and have never seen a crash caused by lack of drl.

Visibility in so many scenarios. I have been driving with my headlights on full time since 1994, since I could drive, it's such a no brainer. Yes before DRL it cost me a few dead batteries forgetting to turn them off, so a jump pack was a must have for me. Now thankfully the car takes car of it.

Visibility scenarios would be drivers inatention, not vehicle safety. Pay attention and no drl are needed.

It is like saying selt belts save lives, they do not, they reduce injury.

Pay attention and follow the traffic laws and you do not need to make your vehicle less visible and less safe.

I have a ‘24 on order. My understanding is, the Headlights are LED.
I was told it’s standard now on all 3 builds. Is this correct? Thanks.

LEDs have a lifespan of 50,000 hours, which is 5.7 years. Assuming you only average 30MPH, that is still 1.5 million miles. The truck will go bad before the LEDs.

How exactly is not having drl on less safe?

What traffic laws do I not follow?

"less safe" because the government says so :ROFLMAO:
Nanny State, does not equal freedom.

It is sad people just step in line instead of being the most important part of freedom, individuals.

I highly doubt our freedoms are going to hell because of LED DRLs.

I highly doubt you comprehended that I was speaking in a general term about the whole Nanny State.
