T-minus 2 weeks until my XL is supposed to get here. I need a cheap tonneau, and for $170, this seems like it might get the job done.

Ford Maverick Is this the best budget tonneau? mav_ton

I'm not familiar with the brand, but it has enough decent reviews that it seems like my best choice:

This won't be the family vacay car. I'll mostly be throwing softball gear in it 🤣 so I don't need anything perfect!

Exactly the one I purchased based on a few links here and good reviews. That being said, my Maverick isn’t here yet so I have no firsthand experience with it except it shipped quickly and in secure packaging…

I have not used this one but I have had the Truexdo on mine for over a year with -0- issues. It is the same as the Ford OEM one but without the logo. I think I paid around $250 for it.

I purchased the Ford version through the dealer and it cost me $170 after using my Ford points for the majority of the cost. Something to consider.

Had ours on for ~4 months. I think I got it for ~$150 when there was a $20 off coupon. No complaints so far.

I just tried to find warranty information. It seems you can't get there from here. That would be a red flag for me, when brands like Extang and Truxedo (plus others) put their warranty information where it can be easily found and, on some covers, offer lifetime warranties. The major brands are more expensive but the phrase "you get what you pay for" comes to mind.

I would but I can’t find one available to buy. Appears to be discontinued.

The exact one I have in my wish list to buy. I will wait for the Mav to be in my garage before ordering though. :ROFLMAO:

I just bought the Tip Top a few weeks ago. It was easy to install. Flapping is minimal at 60+ mph. It leaks a little in heavy rain, but I wasn't looking for a completely waterproof cover. Came with weather stripping and a little tap light.

Did you install the extra weather stripping on yours? Mine went through rain the first time today and it definitely had water in the bed.
Just the little stuff up front and at the front edge that came with it. But I honestly wouldn't ever expect a cover to keep my bed completely dry in rain. I'd wrap stuff in the bed if I needed to keep it dry.
