Great minds think alike! I did the same thing and it was a real pain getting those cigarette plugs to slip behind the metal bed, but it’s worth it!

Just bought the identical socket, but I'm going to install the setup into a small project box that i tuck away in the cubby, I can pull it out when I need it and charge things in the bed. Almost like a 12v power station on an extension cord. (I have a bed cap)

Return that Amazon garbage and get yourself a good one. Blue Sea systems 4363. It's bizarre the someone would take the time to install an Amazon cheap-o. Do yourself a favor and get a good one. Buy cheap, buy twice and re-install next year? Don't do it!
