Aeroskin and side reflectors installed

Just installed the side reflectors and the Lund Aeroskin. Not too much trouble. The tape sealant enhancer left a weird blue mark on the paint where it wasn’t covered up by the skin, but rubbing alcohol got it off. STILL WAITING for BT Trims lettering. Says 2 day shipment it’s been over a week and no info and they don’t answer. Same with AAAPrintX for the cubby cell phone holder. Frustrating.

When dry-fitting the deflector, It helps to install a line of blue painter's tape at the upper edge, left to right. That way the adhesion promoter doesn't get applied above the protector. Glad you got it off.

Thanks for the tip! I’m waiting on the dealer to get my next deflector. I plan on having them remove the other one and I will put the new one on. I know I can do a better job (after putting it on my 22)!

Yes double sided tape the length of the part, too and bottom.

Yes, I like this better than the one that attaches via screws under the hood. Did you see the video where the guy tried to make adjustments while installing? He ended up breaking it then had to rip it off and buy another one!

Yes, it is on with 3M tape and it is difficult to remove I understand. I thought it was easy to put on and did a much better job on my 22 than the dealer did on my 23.

I’m not sure I will install the replacement one because I’m not certain I like the look on the A51. You can see a sliver of blue on the leading edge of the hood no matter how good the install. I am considering replacing with PPF film instead.

You’ve got that right, only one chance! If you take your time it’s not difficult to get it on right.

Damn man! Was the installer drunk/high on that one? I've installed several of these. They are not that difficult. You peel and stick as you go...

That’s why I’m doing it myself when the new one comes in. Any chance you know any tricks when removing the other one?

I haven't ever removed one. I would assume it's similar to removing badges. Heat it up a bit, and slide fishing line underneath. Dental floss may also work -- although breaks often.

Have you installed the new one yet? I am still debating whether or not to put one on my Truck. Please post some pics if you have! I need to make a decision before love bug season!!! Lol
