Unlike years past with Fords; the wireless keypad for my 23 Ranger had to be programed by Ford Service Dept. I have programed several in the past; but now to install, a tech needs to access the truck's "computer". Good luck with it.

I have instructions and tried programming based on turning key on off 8 times and continued wits additional steps
but didn’t work. I have hybrid model not sure this matters. I am trying to do it myself as dealer wants 75 to program. Thanks again

Not a service tech here, but I don’t think you can do the new ones yourself.
