Great job on the mods! Really appreciate that you’ve taken time to show how each of them was carried out. I’d really enjoy seeing a complete walk-around of the truck now that you’ve made so many upgrades.
Thank you. I still have a lot more to go. I am concidering mounting indirect lighting in the cup holders as well. I have lowering springs I need to do, and want to add a set of driving lights to the front bumper.

I have been on vacation since dec 18th. I was gonna get things done with my truck. Honestly I just got busy with other stuff. My 3mm and 5mm ice blue LEDs did finally show up. I need to do a small project with them to start. I think I'm gonna back light the dash cubby first. I may finish up the air horns install too. I had to go back to the drawing board on the bracket, and need to come up with a compressor mounting bracket. Maybe tomorrow or monday. Tuesday I go back to work.
You had me at 'air horn install'. I have Harbor Freight's version and after a quick look under the Maverick's hood, couldn't find a decent place to install the horns, so it's on the "later" shelf. I'm thinking the horns do not have to be in the engine compartment and maybe closer to the lower front end might work. The compressor is another matter . . . not at all sure where that could go. I'll watch your thread post with much interest and if I have any ideas I'll be sure to share.

I have an idea to make a compressor mount that bolts in where the stock horns mount. Just havent got to it yet, and working on a different horn mount bracket idea. Of course my long vacation is over so I am back at work. On one hand the 10 hour days limit my after work tinkering, on the other hand I have a hydraulic sheetmetal shear, several bending brakes, and a metal roller at my disposal lol. I do not like drilling additional holes in a vehicle if I can help it. I will make whatever I need to be a bolt in to the existing holes.

Well we got the polar vortex spiking down here in west Texas. Sunday it was 11°F all day. Monday it was 8°F and only warmed up to 20°F. This morning its 14°F and I am rethinking the fact that I didnt pay extra for them heated seats and heated steering wheel. Wednesday it's supposed to warm up a bit and it starts my weekend off anyways. I will be retrofitting heated seat warmers in my truck before next winter. I will just use gloves for my steering wheel.

Had the heated seats in several previous vehicles and they are nice to have even if it's not cold out. Wife likes the heat on a sore back and I just figured at my age, I'm worth that bit of luxury. Came with my Lariat that just happened to fall into our laps back in 2021 when getting the Holy Grail was easier than landing a Maverick.

I will say that even living here in Arizona I use my heated seats and steering wheel a lot!! It's so nice to have!! I definitely would add heated seats for sure!! Of course you can also get heated gloves too! 😆

Finally worked everything up in my mind how I wanted it, made the mount brackets and installed my horns. I painted everything black. I used a Metra brand Ford type aftermarket 2 pin speaker adaptor plug, and plugged into only one horn connection. Just zip tied the other horn plug out of the way.

I also had to un pin and swap the wires in the Metra speaker plug to change the polarity so the compressor motor would blow air from its compressor exit port, not try to suck it in. This way black wire attaches to negative side of the motor.

These tuck up out of the way very nicely. I am very happy with my install. The bonus is they are very loud, and sound like the more expensive Italian made Fiamm Riviera series horns. Kind of "Ferrari esque". The best part, is I used all existing holes under the hood, and did not drill any additional holes. I hate drilling extra holes in a vehicle.

Center console storage bins. Amazon $20. Fantastic idea, and allows for storage on 3 levels. There is approx 2" of space in the console below the bottom drop in bin. Several sellers, probably all from same injection moulding plant in china. Several different colors of pin stripes for the rubber pads this comes with. I went with the blue. No tools required, open box, and drop in place. 1 minute open box and install

Heres a small vid of the sound. It's a lot louder than you think. The sound on the video doesnt do it justice.
