my dealer claims they put all orders in at 19, including rollovers. However, I believe ford is going through rollover orders and changing their priority over what dealerships have placed on the order.
From guidance from Ford posted on here somewhere, I saw that Ford will prioritize the rollover orders the week of August 14. Look for the one that counts after that.

I still have not received the promised official documentation regarding my order on Monday with pricing, fees, X-plan, etc. from my dealership. I have emailed them twice to ask for it. I am just a bit anxious they are dragging their feet so they can try to set me up later with other 'fees' when the truck is delivered. At least I have the official Ford email confirming they received my order. I will keep on the dealership and call if I have to. I have spent too much time researching this truck and the buying process to get jobbed over.

I also am hoping I will regret not ordering the Lariat. I feel like the XLT I built will be more than sufficient. It will have a lot of desirable features. I just hope I made the right decision and won't regret small things like push-button start, SYNC 3, and the B&O. I don't really care about Active-X, Co-PIlot Assist, Spray-in-Liner. I also really did not want to spend $1,650 for the opportunity to have black interior instead of the brown. Plus, no FX-4 with the BAP really soured me too.

Small Saturday rant over. I am still really excited I have the opportunity to own this truck.

I somewhat disagree, I have a '23 Cactus on order. I like the color although it was a quick discission as I had never actually seen it on a vehicle. When I finally saw it for real I liked it even more and thought it would give something extra to a simple XL hybrid and prevent it from looking like a meter reader. I've had time to think about it over the past 10 months. I plan this truck to be a keeper. (I'm retired and my current daily is a 1993 Nissan. My wife drives a Prius and we currently use that for trips.) As much as I like Cactus Grey, Area 51, and some of the other trendy colors, in the future I don't t want my truck to look dated because of the color. Ford may make it look dated due to body changes, we'll see. White, black, red, and silver are pretty much timeless IMO and will not put a vehicle in a particular time period. For many other reasons l have now rolled over to a' 24 Lariat that needs no color to enhance it. White is perfect and timeless.
It struck me as really odd the interpretation of the designation "iconic silver metallic FLEET ONLY". Though it has been repeated so many time, I wonder if what they intended to state is that fleet orders can only have silver or grey metallic. It seem odd to deny silver to the regular customer. From a previous pie chart of customer orders there was little uptake on silver and maybe they have too much paint in stock. It's also odd that the standard fleet color historically has been white and now denied. In the past supply shortages it was reported blue pigments were difficult to get, occasionally titanium dioxide for the whitest white can be in short supply. Likely only ford directly can answer the question as dealers would be less knowledgeable.

My dealer was able to order my:
Trim: Lariat
Color: Cactus Grey
Packages: Tremor Package
Options: Moon Roof

She said they did freeze the bank after it opened to do a non-Maverick production run (no idea what that means in context) but was able to submit after.

I tried to put in an order yesterday. We went through the whole order process until he gave me the final cost breakdown. Over $1600 in bogus fees. EPP fee - $699, Nitro Fill - $299, Doc fee - $629. WTF! Supposedly EPP is some kind of environmental fee. Nitro Fill is to fill the tires with nitrogen. Really? Doc fee is inflated but not totally bogus. I said "I'm not paying that." He said, "Sorry we can't take your order then." I walked out. I tried calling another local dealer where I tested an XLT Ecoboost but they never called back. I'll probably try other local dealers and see what happens.

At least they told you about the additional fees right now. It's better than waiting several months then finding out once your Maverick has arrived that it's going to cost more than what you thought.

Before sitting down with a sales person ask them upfront if they have an ADM on ordered vehicles, if they have mandatory addons, and what their fees are.
Man, Nitro fill is so dumb. normal everyday air is 78% nitrogen already https://www.noaa.gov/jetstream/atmosphere. I have emails from my dealer saying no markup over MSRP. My dealers doc fees are like $20 over the state average, which is whatever. The one thing that was on there that I don't care for was the "VIN Etching" for like $200. So overall there was about $220 of nonsense which I can fight about later and wasn't about to walk out to the door over.

Put in order Monday, salesperson said the ordering manager puts everything in on Fridays so check back then.

Check back this Friday, he says the ordering manager is on vacation and he'll get around to it next Friday. 🥴

Really wish we could change dealers and keep the private offer.

I hope you will enjoy your Mav Lariat as much as I have enjoyed mine since taking delivery March 7th. Took just shy of six months from date of order to delivery.

similar thing happened to me for MY2023 at two dealers. walked.... moral victory... tried at a 3rd dealer and order banks closed.... no maverick.
placed my order for a MY2024 on 7/17 from that 3rd dealer. MSRP, no market adjustments, no dealer adders, Farm Bureau discount...

I have Lariat on order because my XLT didn't have push button and Sync 3 and I miss those items.
XLT is a great vehicle but I hate getting my key out of my pocket. Good luck.

I got a Lariat in hybrid Terrain with BAP (Black Appearance Package), and a moonroof. I hope there aren't a lot of supply issues with the hybrid drive.

I have a 2023 order in since last Spet (first day the order bank opened they put in my order.)
Same as the above except my 2023 was Area 51 (not happy about them discontinuing that), and i didn't have the copilot 360, but had a full size spare. I saw that the 360 package included a full size spare plus power mirrors so i figured it was well worth the extra money. I would be happy if my 2023 got built, but i don't see that happening.

As a rollover order, as long as your dealer has the allocations, you have the best chance you've ever had. Should be built before new orders.

True but Dealer Allocations is the key word and determining factor. Dealer Allocations Are King
