Let's Start A Maverick Wave! 👋

I waited 9 and 1/2 months for my 2022 Maverick. That's longer than I waited for both of my kids!

All the ordeals that we've been through as Maverick people have made us a special group. Heck, we're all in this forum because we share a love of this truck.

Why don't we extend the club by creating a Maverick wave!

What's a Maverick wave you ask? Well I'm sure we've all seen motorcyclists wave at each other going down the road. And Jeep people have a special wave that they do to each other. So why can't us Maverick people get it on the action?

On my commute to and from work I pass one or two Maverick owners every day and I started just giving a little wave to them as I go by. I finally have one guy waving back to me (sometimes he even waves first ). I figure if all of us on this forum start doing this we could make it a real thing!

So who's with me? Let's start a Maverick wave that sweeps the nation!!

I’ve driven wranglers and motorcycles most of my last 30 years and to be honest, the “wave” got old for me a long time ago. If people start, that’s cool, but I doubt I’d wave back. That may be because I’m becoming more of an old grumpy guy each year.

The Maverick does not have the cachet like the Corvette. The Corvette has the longevity and the exclusivity associated with this American transportation icon. Maverick is a simple inexpensive truck. I wave at other 'Vettes all the time, if I see another Mav I will respond to their wave, but I won't initiate a wave.

Plus it's a lot easier to make a "V" with 2 fingers than a "M",,,,,,,,,,

PLEASE don't get this started! Traded my 2017 Jeep Recon and was glad to never have to wave at the parking lot poseurs that think that is "Jeeping".

VERY similar to the motorcycle riders that are hard core 20 mile riders each weekend that I pass on 800 mile days........that REALLY gets old.
