My dealer assures me MY23 will be built if you have a vin.
I was on the way to my dealer when my salesman called. He told me I will get my Maverick. I explained that previous orders with VIN got cancelled. He said I am good and no protocol to place 24 order if 23 is scheduled. I said want to be safe just in case. He said no reason to order. I went back home. I will be pissed if I get bumped from my 23 build.

That's what they said about the 22s did not happen.
That"s what I tried to tell my salesman on the phone. He said no worry your good and Ford does not have a protocol for ordering if you are to get a 23 Maverick. Hopefully it gets built.

My sales person told me the same.

At least your salesperson would respond to you. I asked marketing and they said I didn't need to order a MY24 since I was scheduled.
I actually had one person I spoke with at marketing promise to call me when there were any changes to my unscheduled clean and they actually did the day after I got the email. They wanted to make sure I knew there was movement on it and fulfill the promise they made to me. I was surprised, really thought yeah right when they originally told me they would call me when things changed.
I haven't order a MY24 and kind of like if it gets bumped for some reason then I am done and getting a trailer for my Audi Q5 (it has a trailer hitch and can tow more than the hybrid Maverick.)

I would order a 24 from another dealer.

I have found Ford Marketing to be basically useless. I have called them a number of times and got either no answer or very vague answers. They refer me back to the dealer who is even more useless! I usually contact marketing out of futility. My bad! lol
I called Ford Marketing one time for my Private Offer Certificate number and they provided it in 2 minutes...

Ford is placing a higher priority this year in getting '23 orders built.
Maybe they are finally getting there act together. Maybe 2 more years before the gravy train is over when competitors come online.

Same question I had. If my scheduled 2023 doesn't get built, I'll just go out and find a perfect Bronco Sport that has all the options I could ever want, and I won't have to pay ADM for it, or wait 12 months for it either.

I have never owned a Ford before. I have had it with them! If I get a Maverick fine! If not, life goes on! I am familiar with j=hurry up and wait! lol

If your 23 is scheduled, it will be built. Even if Ford has to cut over the model year and cancel your MY23, Ford will replace it with a MY24 without your dealer's involvement and will prioritize it above those who have basic rollovers.

So, if you are holding a VIN, you will get your truck... eventually.

Short of Armageddon(hey who the hell knows from one day to the next these days) if you have a VIN you will get your 2023 truck. I actually believe Ford planned ahead knowing Monday July 17 was going to be hit hard with rollover and new orders, so they actually did some homework, crunched numbers, and figured out what '23 orders they can definitely get built and sent emails out to prevent unnecessary orders coming in for '24s. I'm sure they left a little room to add more as they continue to produce '23s and see how final production goes these next few months. I say this because of how they stated in the previous email sent out: " If your 2023 Maverick order is scheduled between July 1‍7 and October 3‍1, we will work with your dealer to remove the 2024 order from our system. " I take that as: we know what we can get built and have sent those emails prior to July 17th, if it works out to where we can build some more, we will, and will remove your duplicate '24 order from our order bank. Just my 2 cents worth of logic
