They had it already along with my 2024 order sheet which I delivered this morning in person and asked if they needed any other info. Yea, I get it. I put too much faith in the dealer. Cost me a Maverick but I guess I won’t make the mistake again. Back to looking for a new car.

I’m willing to bet the order banks will still be open in the am. I would be calling them making sure they get you in asap because of their incompetence. Email should have been right along with name and DL

Get rid of the tri fold. It will hold up your order. Very easy to add after.

If you have a VIN then why are you putting in an order that Ford said they will cancel? I don’t get it.

Do you not remember last year when MY22 orders with a scheduled build date got canceled.

Having a scheduled build data on a MY23 is no guarantee that it will get built.

If it doesn't get built as a 23 and you have no order in as a 24 you will not get your Maverick.

I've been gone pretty much since a couple months after I took delivery my 2022 xlt, fx4 in Nov of 2022. I put a 2023 xlt tremor on order last year. My 2022 was set for build, or in progress, I forget, but I didn't get it till November.

I went to see my dealer on Thursday, 7/13. We talked a little and I switched my 2023 tremor order to atlas blue, from hot pepper red. I really thought I wanted that red, untill I saw the first pictures of a delivered atlas blue tremor on here when someone posted theirs (last winter, spring?)

He asked for a signature. I wanted info on the decal delete, and he didn't have it. We made an appointment for 9 or 10 tuesday morning. After last year . Well, I just am willing to wait a day.

The 24 is a rollover, if I don't get the 23. The 23 was a reorder, not rollover, because I ordered a tremor with a deposit I had placed on a 22 xlt that never got built.

Just took delivery of my wife's 23 Lariat Hybrid and while she was signing papers, Sales Manager said they did actually throw the Maverick orders and the Super Duty orders into the mix. He has not been able to get ONE order in today. Looks like system overload just like last year. Maybe it is all being done by AI.

Yes it's necessary. I confirmed my info from last year as I watched it being input.

wasn't necessary for me, my salesman has the license photo I texted him for my original order.
Actually didn't even go to the dealership for the MY23 order btw, all done with text. text messages are legally a paper trail.

Dealer just confirmed my 2024 order but it has a different order number than my 2023 model? Does that mean they aren't processing it as a reorder? Or just ordering in case my 2023 doesn't get built and will change order number later?

The email I got was a different order number too. Then I received an email from my rep with the official order form or whatever that I signed and emailed back to him. Had the correct order number that matched with my 23 order. I even chatted online with Ford customer service and they were able to confirm the order was correct with my original order number. No idea why the automated email had a different one though.

My order apparently was submitted, as this message popped into my inbox this evening.

It'll be the '24 version of the XLT Hybrid that they failed to build for '23, less the opening rear window and a few other minor things. Oh, and the same order number as my '23.

I remember my original 2021 order. The order confirmation email came right away, but the COVP approval came to the dealer 5 days later after Ford approved it. Ford never told me, but sent the approval to the dealer...who shared it with me. Reminds me to wait a week and ask the salesman if the approval was received. There were folks who got the Ford email and thought they were good, only to find that the dealer did not COVP their orders in time for the 11/18/21 deadline (3 says after the order banks closed). It is something to be concerned about.
