Yep, I think it's SOP with Ford and their dealers. Mine was certainly listed on my dealer's site when it hit the lot, but it wasn't really available for purchase by anyone as I was not letting it go.
The trash can should be fine - magnetic closures, so no real wear items. Plus it's not something I use very often. Bet it lasts as long as I have the truck.
And a FITS-mount trash bin arrived this week. Pretty slick.
Amazon is my retailer of last resort, but where else would one fine such quality, uh, ISSYAUTO products?
Of course it is now currently unavailable, but maybe it'll come back at some point.
Got my Maverick all racked up today, the roof racks and Yakima JayLows (pictured in their folded state) to tote some Delta kayaks, and the 1Up to carry a multitude of bikes.
Love that the 1Up has adjustability in how deep in the receiver it is mounted, as when it is in the shallowest setting...
Theautopian.com has a talented and anonymous designer who pens all sorts of "what if" creations, and today they dreamed up a Lincoln-ized version of the Maverick: https://www.theautopian.com/maybe-people-really-just-hate-the-big-part-of-big-luxury-trucks/
...it's finally here.
XLT Hybrid w/Lux, 360 and a few other little goodies.
The dealer frames and sticker have since been removed. Ordering up some splash guards with my rewards points this evening.
Cactus Grey looks good next to the wife's '21 Area 51 Bronco Sport.
Certainly a major component of the move. Plus, I bet the vast majority of drivers don't actually (properly) use them, and either leave them switched on all the time or fail to use them when they'd actually be beneficial. Heck, I live in an area that is frequently foggy, and there are far too...
Post is over a year old at this point, but Ford is supposedly doing away with fogs on future models.

My order apparently was submitted, as this message popped into my inbox this evening.
It'll be the '24 version of the XLT Hybrid that they failed to build for '23, less the opening rear window and a few other minor things. Oh, and the same order number as my '23.
Wife has a '21 BS OB (see profile pic), and that was part of the impetus to order a Maverick. While it won't be an all-Ford household if/when my Mav gets built, these are the first American-nameplate vehicles we will have bought new, and only the second and third we've ever had (alongside the...
No, as the Hybrid powertrain is the one of the things I like best about the Maverick. If my order gets cancelled or delayed beyond, say, late summer, I may end up buying a new Prius or a full EV.
Nope, we have a '21 Bronco Sport Outer Banks (first new American car ever purchased in 35 years of owning cars), and an '03 F-150 that I bought *very* cheap from my employer when we retired it as a shop truck.
We would have likely bought a Maverick Hybrid XLT had they been available last...
