Well, my hybrid was good this time from May 17th till today. Last time, I could at least unlock the doors and the truck would at least throw a bunch of dashboard error messages when attempting to start it (even if it had no overhead lights). This time, I have to use the physical key to unlock the door and see nothing on the dashboard. The most life the vehicle shows is that tiny indicator for the headlight dial blinking a few times when trying to start it. Last time, the dealer claimed it was a defective 12v battery (and they did a "tug test" claiming the cable was fine)…what issue will it be this time?
The truck was already scheduled in for the battery cable replacement next Wednesday...now I guess it will have to be towed there....again. This is getting to be incredibly frustrating. I absolutely love this vehicle - when it works - but Ford needs to take correcting these issues a lot more seriously. I've always liked Ford, but I'm getting to the point of seriously considering selling my Maverick and moving on to another automaker.
