looks like my MY24 order will be super simple. The same as last year but without the inverter

That’s not what I use my keypad for. I use it for two things:
1. When I need to get into my truck in the driveway and the keys are inside the house. This is just about every day.
2. When I go on a run and don’t want to take my keys.

Several of the deletions surprise me, like the keypad, and the mirror caps now painted black as opposed to body color, manual sliding glass, and remote start? - I didn't see where it was added back into the Luxury package, so is remote start via remote totally dead for 2024?

Sort of surprised they didn't take the cruise control back off the XL, but perhaps too much pressure from fleet buyers to get away with it.

Glad my rollover was actually manufactured in '23, between the changes and price increase.

And then I ship it from OH to AZ... And then I pay someone to remove the old and install the new.... I'm sure it's well over $1000-$1200 when all is said and done. Then there is that interior trim piece as well...

Truth is, with this order guide, we've only got half the picture... We need the price list to know the full impact of all the MY2024 vs MY2023 changes.

No. Not silly at all. I'm so angry about now having to order a $39,000 Maverick (Loaded Lariat) so that I can interact with my dogs while they ride out back. I'm considering not ordering a Maverick next week. I've had a pre-order in the ready since September and I'm considering not even placing the thing next week... as My build has gone from $30k to $39k now. I can't even put into words how angry I am over the loss of a rear sliding window in the XLT trim.

You can buy the sliding window and have a glass shop install it. Really not a big deal.

The battery is replaceable in my Ranger

Maybe there are different ones out there? I had the factory keypad on a previous Ford, and I liked it. I was considering getting an aftermarket one for my XL, but I had read that when they’re dead, they’re dead. I just now searched, and found two hits for a somewhat convoluted process to replace the battery.

Also under the 4k tow package it says under optional equipment it has listed skid plates???

what does that mean? Also why is there optional options in the tow package??

Must be something different about the add on ones then, I've had the factory ones on numerous fords over the years, never had an issue. 12 year old F150 with one, still works perfect

The factory ones are hard wired. Serves the same function, but totally different (and better) build.
