Yes, you are correct regarding when it began. Here is the response from Ford.

You generated a Military Recognition certificate for program 32076. Program number 32076 runs from May 22nd, 2023 through July 5th, 2023. To be eligible for this program you must order a vehicle between these dates or take delivery of a vehicle between these dates. You ordered your vehicle in September 2022 therefore your vehicle does not qualify for program 32076.
Yes,

That does make sense. That's how it usually works. (Not that I don't wish exceptions could be made in circumstances like yours.... We have tried contacting Ford to do that for some customers at our dealership, but it has never worked!)

I recieved the LEO discount, my dealer told me not to apply for it until it was shipped which is what I did.

I'm not seeing the information that I usually do when I look up these programs.... it is possible that it is a regional program (not active where we are), so it isn't showing up for me?

But when I look up your info & certificate number is shows the effecting date being May-11-2023, and expiration date Jul-05-2023.

So the either the vehicle ordering date, or purchase date, needs to be w/in this date range to be eligible for the private offer.
Thanx for your effort.

@KevCuRaoi Do you know if the military discount can be used with other offers? (Farm Bureau)
I can't see the $1,000 military offer that some have received active in my market area..... so I can't be sure about that one.

But the usual $500 military offer (for active, retirees, & veterans w/in 2 years of separation), cannot be combined w/ $500 farm bureau rebate.

I applied for and received via email a $1,000 Military Exclusive Cash Reward from Ford which is good toward a 23MY Maverick. This email contained a certificate number with an end date of July 5, 2023. In the fine print on the email it says "Place a new retail order or take new retail delivery from a Ford Dealer’s stock by 7/5/23." This apparently was a special regional incentive that allows any veteran to qualify, not just those who were discharged within 24 months of separation. I was honorably discharged in 1983.

Since I placed my order in Sept 2022, can I assume this offer will still be valid assuming I take delivery this year?
I am frustrated with Fords answer. They did not specifically indicate a time frame for purchase other than by 7/5. I have filed a complaint with BBB. It is bad enough they can't produce what has been ordered. They go and raise the price after ordering and guess they expect us t lie down like whipped dogs! If i didn't lie the Maverick so much, I would say, forgetaboutit!

Don't waste your time with that BBB crap. You are basically leaving an Amazon review.

I got the vet discount on my Escape in '21 only because it was current at the dealership for $500. Same with a previous Toyota and it was $500. Nothing on the Mav.

I wouldn't raise an eyebrow over it because there is always some kind of expiration on these deals. Just ask your dealer what they can do.

If you don't get an agreed amount when placing the order in writing, that's on you. I understand the frustration of long waits, but it's expected and this is going on 3 years now. Either place the order and be surprised if it gets built, or don't place an order. This is also why you find a dealer willing to place and order with no deposit. They are going to sell the vehicle anyways, they don't need a deposit. But like I said - a good dealer would find a way to give you that discount.

Thanx. The current offer is $500 which is OK. However, the $1,000 offer I received, the fine print was nebulous. BTW, build date of 8/5? Hopefully.

Yes, the new offer is now $500 but they no longer accept any veteran. Must have been discharged in the last 2 years. That excludes me.

I'm with you on this. It's a shame the @Ford Motor Company doesn't really care about all Veterans of the Military.

Antigen: We are out of luck. Ford tells me order period was some time in May (not noted in fine print) and does not apply to us after 7/5! I have complained to no avail.

That is the "standard" offer that is on basically all the time. Often, around Memorial Day or Veterans' Day, they increase the amount and make the offer applicable to any veteran. But those are limited time.

That is ridiculous. I've been out since 2012. Any good dealer would find a way to bypass that and just give it to you. And I am not one who goes around asking for Military discounts - but I've never NOT had one on a new vehicle. Spending $20k+ they can afford to prioritize a $500 discount for ALL veterans.

@Ford Motor Company You should really fix this.
