You know it a real shame Ford took away the remote start on the key fob on the 23s . On my 22! Maverick so easy push lock once push start twice DONE . Alot easier then going thru my phone . I quess it's just me .

Yeah, happy to hear this. My sales guy tried to talk me out of adding the remote start for my '23 back in September. In April I called him to add it on anyway. He gave me the same song and dance about the app, but I had him alter the order anyway. My Maverick is currently in transport and I should be getting it later this month.

Yes a very smart thing to do I look out the window hit lock and start twice in about 5 minutes we leave and my Maverick is nice and COOL

Yes, the XLT key still has to be used and turn on start/ready. The AC works great even without the the ICE running.

After hearing no remote starting on the key bob makes me almost want to keep my 22 lariat.

It was a $170 factory add-on for 23 or you can just get the aftermarket one that uses your existing fob for around $100 and installs in matter of minutes.

In MT and parts of Wyoming, many of our highways are around 80. 85 is wild to see but not much crazier than what we already see here.

If you buy the perimeter alarm, it's a plug and play kit where you can configure your current key to be a turn on/off. There is a guy that did a video tutorial in YT

This is not true. It's still an available option on the 23 models. They removed it as part of the XLT or Lariat Luxury packages and it's now a stand alone option. So basically if you want remote start on the key fob you have to make sure to tell your dealership to add that additional option.

Why tf would they do such a stupid thing? Can you add it at all? Are they going the Toyota route and charging a subscription for remote start even from the key fob?

KSC was incorrect, it was not removed from the 23 models, the option packages were shuffled for 2023 and the remote start on the key fob is now a standalone option. See my post above.
