Anyone in the Northern VA area with super positive reviews on their service department? Finally got my Mav yesterday from an out of state dealer, and looking for recommendations from other Mav owners...

It really did! Despite the long wait, very happy with the purchasing & pick-up experience.Congratulations on your new Maverick!
I know you waited a long time after I got mine from Chapman in Horsham. I hope the deal went smooth like mine did.

I went out of state for multiple reasons. 3% off invoice, plus only $449 doc fees in PA (vs. almost $1k in VA), plus a dealer who was very open about their allocations, how many they had scheduled, etc. This is a new car, very little service is required. I'm Ted Britt For Life (TB4L) in Chantilly. I only have to take it in every 7500. Ordering from one of the local stealerships was key for me. At least I can say It's their vehicle. You beat me by a few weeks, not sure why you didn't go local.
Frankly if I were in your situation, I might take back to original dealership. Else, find an independent shop.
Way to outsmart yourself. Now the only Ford dealership who cares about your car is in Pennsylvania somewhere. BTW- I got $2750 cash back from Ford's "private offer" plus what I showed you above.I went out of state for multiple reasons. 3% off invoice, plus only $449 doc fees in PA (vs. almost $1k in VA), plus a dealer who was very open about their allocations, how many they had scheduled, etc.
Congrats, I also got the $2750 private offer. Hope you enjoy your Mav as much as I'm enjoying mine.Way to outsmart yourself. Now the only Ford dealership who cares about your car is in Pennsylvania somewhere. BTW- I got $2750 cash back from Ford's "private offer" plus what I showed you above.
I'm pretty sure Ford dealers don't really care. If they get paid that's all that matters to them. As for warranty work you can take it to any dealership that's Ford.Way to outsmart yourself. Good luck. The good news that this vehicle requires very little maintenance. I think you'll be fine, but it's a little late in the game to shop local stealerships. Your strategy screams DIY and independent repair shops.
I would have to say I would enjoy my Maverick more if it was the exact same build and cost 2.7 k less lolCongrats, I also got the $2750 private offer. Hope you enjoy your Mav as much as I'm enjoying mine.
