It’s where other buttons go that aren’t needed. Use it as a garage park ticket or credit card holder.

Also, off topic but the cubby next to the dash works fine as a wallet holder

It is NOT designed as a gas credit card holder. After all, it's a Maverick Hybrid !!!

It might be a paper shredder to eliminate all those offers from other automotive manufacturers. LOL I really don't know the purpose of that other then to hold some sort of card. Any description of that in the owners manual?

"HYBRID" here no "PROBLEMS" 22300 mi on it and it "PASSES_SERVICE_STATIONS" 45 to 55 mi per/gal take that to the bank with your "ECO_BOOST" there is nothing "ECO" about the eco/boost, The demand is for the HYBRID not the so called "ECO"!!!
