Congrats to all that were scheduled, especially those with the extended wait times. I really wish I had more insight on my unscheduled order. My salesman assures me I will get my truck if I'm patient and that unfilled MY23s will be rolled over for MY24. I honestly don't know if I should ride out my MY23 order and hope it rolls over if unfulfilled or if I should place a MY24 order when the bank opens. Also my MY23 order is a X plan order and not sure if I could place a MY24 order using the same X plan approval.

I ordered an XL hybrid from Leif Johnson's Koenig Lane location last September. I have little hope of getting scheduled this year given that someone who ordered back in 2021 just now got scheduled. One might think they'd have more allocations since they are a large dealer with multiple locations.

Finally, after 21 months of waiting:

Wow another year+ wait from a Leif customer. For sure if i order a 2024, it won’t be from Leif.
And yes, it will be a miracle if my 2023 from Leif Johnson Buda is scheduled. I thought they have more allocations

Dealers are Different from one to the next.

But Ford Motor Company is Ford Motor Company, and the Communications that I have received from Ford Motor Company has been Subpar and Lackluster. From what I read in these Forums, that seems to be the norm.

That might be the norm for comments here and in general online because people that are happy don't feel the need to comment. That does not mean the majority of people got poor communication.

I talked to several dealers before I decided which one to order my Maverick from. The dealer I ordered from seemed to understand the process plus I did my research to make sure I got what I wanted. The dealer recommended removing the spray in bed liner and mud flaps because they were constrained at the time. I could have added the bed liner back in but decided to do it after I received the truck.

Place a new order if you don't get scheduled before the order banks open. Orders don't get rolled over automatically. You are still technically having to place a new order.

So is this all of the scheduling for August, or will some more be added in the coming weeks? September will be a year for many of our orders. I was told Ford said it would be about six months to get a Maverick.

According to Tim Bartz, if you‘re working through a knowledgeable and cooperative dealer, the color should be able to be changed after you’ve been assigned a “build week”, but once your order is scheduled for a specific DAY, it can no longer be changed. Good luck!

Yes! I still believe there’s a chance. Tim Bartz has said MY23 production will continue to mid-October, so there SHOULD be two more rounds of scheduling. One for September and another for the first half of October. And there’s further possibility that MY23 production could be extended…

I removed the tonneau and splash guards the day before I received the email. Is it a coincidence or did it really help removing those tow items.
