And I asked several local dealers in Phoenix/Tucson area what their allocations would be and none would share that.
Where you are in line is critical info you must know before deciding on who to order from. If a dealer will not disclose if you are #50 out of 100 allocations or #150 out of 100, order from a dealer that will tell you.

Yes you are really in the dark without that knowledge.

Perhaps Ford is annoyed at Tim for educating the consumer on how to go through the buying process. I once has someone tell me "in mystery there is margin".

Let us all remember. There are numerous posts about dealers in smaller towns not receiving allocations and others being upset. Maybe this is Ford trying to level the field before MY24 orders hit.
Yep, every dealer needs a taste of that medicine, share it across the board and share the burden

FoMoCo is giving allocations to the weak dealers who don’t put forth even 10 percent the effort Long McArthur’s Tim Bartz does. So many dealers and lazy sales folks can contribute at least some Mav sales due to his efforts. And then for Long McArthur to receive NO allocations next month…I mean NONE. Ford Motor Company owes that fellow an acknowledgement of his efforts in promoting the Ford brand. What a shame……..

Recent actions by Ford in general have me questioning my decision to consumate my Mid June build…..

Have no argument about Tim and the folks at LM, I tip my hat to them all. But to me it's not about the dealer, it's the customer like you and I, that placed their order in good faith, with some now waiting in the 500-600 day time frame. It's these folks, all that have placed an order, they are due their fair shot in receiving their vehicle just like the ones that have received theirs or happened to be fortunate enough to have a dealer with lots of allocations to get scheduled. What's "right" about them always being shot down on being selected, they can't control the dealers efforts or allocations. Like I've said numerous times, all this allocation is crap that has no logic in being used on verified customer retail orders, it should be first in first out as long as the order has no constraints. Just My Opinion

Orders should be built based on order date regardless of dealer, taking constraints into account of course.
Except larger dealerships will have dedicated staff able to flood the books. Smaller dealerships might just have one guy able to put in orders and if there are system issues, might have to wait. Should that dealership be punished simply because a larger dealership is able to afford a team of people able to spam the order banks?

Ok but let’s carry that on a little further and realize that LM allocations no matter the number have very little if any impact on the allocations of the majority of the members of this forum. You wouldn’t think that was the case with some who want to blame larger dealerships for their not getting a Maverick.
Hum.... yes, no, maybe. Then came post #114..... Ford can only build X number a month. So if a large dealership or several of them regularly get high numbers of allocations for production, that's less to go around for all the others. Again, this allocation just should not be any part of a verified customer retail order.

This my last post on this thread, and I'm going to end it with a quote from Hagar the Horrible

I deserve my truck just as much as anyone that ordered at a large dealership. I think the dealership that I ordered had 15 mavs and I’m seeing some getting 70 allocations per month. it sucks. I know someone will say I shouldn’t have ordered at a small dealer and I’ll say maybe you shouldn’t have ordered at such a big dealer and be just a number.

no way you look at it is positive. Everyone wants their truck and the frustration is reaching its boiling point.

ive said this a few times. I do not care about a roll over private offer. I’m ok with a 24. As long as I’m paying for the 24 what I should be paying for my23. What I’ve been seeing is I’ll be paying 24 prices. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I would agree overall. Don't get me wrong, Tim is a fantastic guy that has done a tremendous amount for members of this forum and others and also done a ton of great work for Ford. But at the end of the day, all of this allocation junk is pure garbage for customer retail orders. IMO, LM customers are no better deserving to receive their vehicle than the guy/gal at the dealer serving customers in the middle of no where. Every customer deserves their fair shot in receiving their order regardless of how big or small the dealership is
My now that is well said we all or in the same line as it were to get the maverick, retail orders we can help it that allocation plays the role it does
