@Maverstang and @Maverick2023 while Granger did prioritize their orders, Ford did not. I am still waiting to be scheduled and I was not in the bottom 9 of orders received.

I wonder what this means for existing orders already placed with LM Ford? Does anyone know?

What I would like to see is @Ford being proactive in rewarding dealers that.
  • Honor MSRP, price protection, plans, and private offers.
  • Have a very high percentage of purchases paired with the person on the COVP; this includes completing the orders by the 20th of the month.
  • Are selling all of Ford's products including those that other dealers are struggling to sell.
  • Has a high Net Promoter Score or Excellent reviews.
For example, my local dealer -- the one that I have purchased 2 Mavericks and 1 PHEV Escape from in the last two years -- now has a policy whereby every retail order has more than $1500 added for unwanted services (paint and interior protection, for example).

It's my sincere hope that Ford sees this, cuts their allocations, and gives their allocations to the dealerships that treat customers the way Ford wants them to treat customers.

Forums like this will allow us to find and direct our business toward the dealerships getting allocations because they treat customers the way Ford wants customers to be treated.

Well I certainly can’t defend Ford on the whole Maverick Fubar. But I’m confident Granger will keep your order at the front of the priority list until it gets built. They won’t drop or forget about you, like so many other dealers have done.

There is still another month of scheduling after this months allocations which LM did not get. So there is a chance LM will get allocations next month, but Tim said they didn’t know. Obviously they’ll have to contact everyone who has an order to see if they want to put another order in for ‘24 when the order banks open. I’d also say find a local dealer (unless LM is your local dealer) and place an order. Even Tim said that. What a cluster…

Is Tim talking about all 2024 orders? Or just 2024 Hybrid orders?

I don't see why they shouldn't take new EcoBoost orders if all of the 2023 EcoBoost orders are scheduled.
My 23 Ecoboost isn't scheduled. I ordered with Long McArther

I am not waiting on a 24
I felt the same way at one time, but I decided to wait it out. I can tell you this, after an 18 month wait it was well worth it. I hope you will find participating on this forum can help to ease the stress of the long wait. We are all here to support one another. :)

As with ANY allocation thread here, most are posting statements based on.....no real information.

If LM has no allocations for a month, it may well have been known that was coming. Maybe, due to LM's really good service toward customers, they had gotten WAY more allocation than they normally would in the past few months. Now, Ford is trying to catch up on Retail orders before model year build out. Could be they are concentrating on other good dealers with a backlog that really needs and deserves attention. There are a lot of good dealers, I don't doubt LM is one of them. But Tim does not work for Ford. His videos are not sponsored by Ford. They are an excellent way to promote HIM and his dealership. Which I applaud.

Most here won't agree, but I think Ford has made a big effort to fill as many retail orders as they can. Yes, there are fleet orders. But what I hear is that many of those have been waiting as long as some of the retail orders. Not many months back the sentiment here was that something like 30 or 40,000 Hybrid orders might not get built. Now that may be under half or even better of that amount. Again, the dealers have a responsibility to plan how many orders they can fill. Nothing wrong with taking more, AS LONG AS IT IS MADE CLEAR THEY ARE UNLIKELY TO GET BUILT!

I would imagine every dealership that took larger numbers of orders are going to under deliver. Most all dealerships will under deliver. Ford is under delivering. Let’s hope MY24 is better for everyone.
Maybe. But it will come at a cost to the people not getting a MY23. You know a price increase is going to happen. Just might be Fords plan because they realize they under priced the Maverick.

One thing is for sure if you don't get your order through LM it isn't because the order was handled improperly. There was a window of maybe a week this time? I think even less. If you don't get it your truck you were probably late to the game, too many others ahead of you. Too many constraints. Ford's less than ideal system. It was a crapshoot at best. Tim will see they handle the left over orders properly. He takes pride in what he is doing. If you are higher up on the ladder of left over orders at LM then you are in as good a spot as you can be. If not, consider putting in a second order at another dealership as back up.

I would be amazed if the Hybrid is not higher price than EB this time. You are right though the Maverick is under priced for the existing market.
