Eight months have passed and still no Maverick.

Ordered my next XLT 9/15/22 like 1000's of others. I just found out from my sales person that I am a priority 11. It seems there are a lot of priority 10's and 19's out there with no scheduling after 8 months. Curious here. What is the actual purpose of a priority number? I get the restraints implications but that doesn't explain the practical reasoning of having a priority number at all. Thanks

Priority code just means it's your dealership's "line" in which orders will be looked at by Ford for scheduling, within constraints. So if order A is priority 10, and order B is prioirty 11, order A will be looked at and scheduled first before order B, assuming no constraints. But once you add in constraints, then a heavily constrained prioirity code 10 order (call it order C) will be skipped and Ford will schedule order B instead.

This is all within the particular dealership, so it's irrelevant what other dealerships assign as priority codes as it won't affect your particular dealer's queue of orders.

don’t feel bad. I waited 16 months, 501 days total before I got delivery. It will arrive eventually. Be patient.

Ordered mine in September. Just got it 3 days ago. Hybrid XL with only hitch and 110v addon. Don’t give up hope

Was told everything at my dealership was 19, too, except a couple rollovers. Just got scheduled in today's round. Also 8 months out. Maybe in June for you, hopefully?

As others have said, it's all about dealer allocations.

Why should I be penalized as a Ford customer because of a dealer allotment number. Should be on ordered basis. I have been waiting almost 19 months and still no production date. Ford tells me when I call that it was definitely ordered.

xlt, area 51, xlt pkgf, mud guards, drop in bed liner, 360, 4 pin and soft cover. BTW, I am told I am good to go but not schedued.

Drop the mud flaps and ur odds with greatly increase.. I had the mud flaps on my 22 order and my salesman said that's prob why I didn't get a 22 had to reorder for a 23... Had them take them off the order and got scheduled in the beginning of Nov. For a end of Dec. Build that got pushed to the beginning of Jan.. Cuz of the holidays
Mud flaps are one of the things that have the highest constraints
