Adding a trailer hitch to my hybrid order?

Have an unscheduled 2023 hybrid xl order and noticed it has been a weekly constraint yet I see everyone posting their newly delivered Maverick has one. Is it too risky to add it at this point? I don’t want to have to add it later and more expensively.

Ordered my XLT Hybrid in Sept 22 with hitch and mudflaps. Learned about the constrained items and surplus items in Feb 23, went to my dealer and dropped the hitch and flaps, added spray in bedliner and cargo management system, a month later got my scheduled-to-be-built email 4 weeks later.

Add the hitch if you want but thats almost certainly gonna ensure yours isnt built.

If I have a hybrid order and I'm thinking man I have to have a hitch! I'm also asking myself why I didn't order an EB to begin with?!?

Most of what you see are trucks with LUX package that includes hitch.

Hmm, wow, you must be right and I must be wrong, then. I mean, so what if Ford said “if you drop constrained items and add surplus ones, you have a better chance of having your Maverick built“? Yep, no correlation there whatsoever. The only thing I’m speculating here is that you dont know what you're talking about.

Just add it if you like, then go get three 100 sided dice and roll them once each Thursday morning to see if you can get 100 on all three, if you can, then you know you will get the scheduled e-mail from Ford that day.
