I am 19 days till I hit 600 days since I ordered. I am wondering if anyone is going to hit the 600 day mark. I have no vin and no scheduled build date or anything. I call fords 800# every other week to make sure the order is still in. They really do nothing but tell me to keep waiting. The dealer has no news for me either. If there was another hybrid truck like the maverick I would buy it in an instant but there is not. This will probably be my first and last ford vehicle....if I ever actually get it

Sorry to hear you’ve been waiting so long and still have no info about your order.

Would you mind sharing what engine, trim level, and options you ordered. Also what priority code you’re at now?

I’m def no expert on the topic but it seems that the dealership you ordered with has a big part in all this, i.e. your priority code, their allocation, etc.

hybrid xlt lux package
priority code 10
I talked to the dealer friday and they showed me how many unfulfilled orders that were before me. There are 3. They have been trying to get an answer from Ford as well. I've been blacklisted from ford facebook chat.

What a bummer. You are on the way to 700 days unless something gives. Smells like a dealer allocation problem. You only got blacklisted. It would probably have been more than that had I waited this long

So what happens if the OP's order is never fulfilled by the end of 2023 production run? Roll over to 2024, clock resets and the fun continues? Asking for a friend.

Well, with Ford, anything could happen...but Ford has stated that they will NOT be rolling over 2022/2023 orders into 2024 orders. Get ready to reorder and start all over, supposedly on 7/17/23 (certainly subject to change at Ford's whim.

This is the Vehicle I want to buy (Lariat Hybrid). Like javaguy89 said, it could be my first Ford purchase, it could be my last, or if there was ANYTHING else available on the market, then I would not have to deal with this frustration and nonsense that is the Ford Motor Company.

The Reality is, were probably not that far away (2024 MY) from some sort of competing unibody small to midsize Hybrid Pickup Truck. Honda should have done it with their Ridgeline last year (another automaker asleep at the wheel). My guess is that it will be Hyundai or Kia that is next out of the gate, and I would take either in a heartbeat. Maybe Chevy has their hands full with electrification, but the Maverick, Ridgeline, & Santa Cruz numbers should make them take note.

I can't stress how disappointing, frustrating, maddening this whole experience has been with Ford. I have little to no faith in their management and competence. It's an entire comedy of errors and stupidity. Please someone, anyone, save me from the clutches of this idiocy that is Ford. My money's ready. Santa Cruz Hybrid. Ridgeline Hybrid. I would buy today if on the lot.

I hear you. My Maverick is "In Production" since 4/13 and I ordered 11/6/21 (530 days). This has been very frustrating. I purchased a Tacoma in February. If my Maverick ever arrives, I'll probably sell it and make a little money.

You order one knowing it is one the most sought after vehicles in recent history especially the hybrid so look in the mirror. And what makes you think other manufacturers won't have the same promblm making enough hybrids if they come out with one?

Tim Bartz had a person on his livestream that has been waiting 800 days for his Bronco so a 500 or 600 day wait is fast.

Of course, it's all my fault. Why didn't I see that before. Thank you for your helpful and therapeutic insight.
