After getting passed over again I finally stopped into my dealer to chat.

How many allocations do you have?
We sold roughly 60 and only have roughly 30 allocations. (Awesome)

Can you up my priority?
No. (I had to try)

What happens if I don't get scheduled?
We'll roll you over and bump up your priority. (We'll see)

I stopped at a Toyota dealer just to poke around. New Prius is pretty sweet, but way too small for me. Rav4 Hybrid is nice. We were talking about hybrids and he mentioned that the Siena, which is now only hybrid, is a stunning 6 month wait. I was like oh yeah, 6 months is ... forever lol.

I also texted my wife and she was obviously sympathetic but also added "this is why no one buys from American auto companies anymore, they treat their customers like crap". Hard to argue against that.

Bought a 23 Corolla Hybrid LE (Premium package) in January and love it. 52-54 mpg (mostly freeway which is the least efficient). Got my Hybrid XLT scheduled today for May. Looking forward to having better mpgs for our vehicles. Replacing my old 1st gen Tacoma that gets 17mpg

Lol, I feel you. The new ones look very non-Prius like ha. The salesman was even like the previous versions were really really ugly. And this is a guy with only one new prius on the lot and a bunch of older ones. He was refreshingly candid.

Agree I think it's a good looking car to be honest. If they gave it a little more oomph from the electric motor.. I might consider it.
