It was indeed enjoyable to meet some fellow Maverick friends. I had mentioned to Paul (paneubert) that I'd be pleased if 10 showed up. We had 10 + 1 still waiting for his truck. As I remember, we had 2 A51, 2 HPR, 1 Velocity Blue, 1 Alto blue, 1 Cactus Grey, 1 Black maybe 2, and ?. No white, silver, or school bus trucks. I also noticed that we were evenly split, contrary to Ford's advertising, half of us were over 60 and the other half were "youngins". We also had XL's, XLT's, and Lariats, and a mix of Hybrid and Eco. It was fun seeing the different mods that each of us had done. Kudos to those that came from a ways away, Inspiredtoo from Longview, and Dano from Gig Harbor area.

Let's do it again this summer. Do some BBQ, get a couple of bands, get Tim, the @fordvideoguy to show up, and pick a place where our 4 legged friends can join.

I would be happy to meet wherever we end up choosing.

Always hard to find a good spot for everyone since it seems like the folks who are interested in the meet-ups are spread really far and wide. I know we met on the south end last time (Renton), but even with having it on the south end, I felt bad for the folks who still had to come all the way from Ocean Shores/Long Beach/Longview, Olympia, etc... On the flip side, I also felt bad that you had to come so far south from Oak Harbor. Nobody wins..... Except for the couple people who were from Renton. Haha.

But then again, Mukilteo works well for the north-end folks and we might snag more new people from Everett/Bellingham/everywhere in-between? It really is going to be a long drive for someone no matter where we meet.

I probably wont be the one to organize this round of meet-up, but would do my best to show up if someone else arranges it. If someone wants to spearhead it, probably smart to start a new thread/posting so folks don't get confused with the old February meet-up.
