I’ve been looking at the backflip series, they have all the features I’m looking for but unfortunately have considerable costs. I want a low profile rigid surface for my cover that is either retractable or foldable. Sadly that seems to cost $1,000+I just installed a BakFlip G2 tri-fold hard bed cover that "tips up" by the rear window once fully opened. Its very well made and gives maximum access to the bed when open. There are self-storing supports on each side once opened and tipped to hold the folded cover in place with three large self-adhesive "bumpers" in the unlikely event it makes contact with the rear window. Very neat look as it lays even with the black plastic bed trim. It also has a "gutter and drain tube" system to minimize water getting into the bed. If you can swing spending in the area of $1k, its worth it.
