Son of a bitch...... I originally ordered this color, then switched to Rapid Red after the Chicago Auto show video, but now I'm torn again. Who knows how long the wait for the RR will be and do I like it so much more than this that I want to wait? The Alto blue bronco sport I saw in person a few months back looked so much darker than this, almost black, which is why I switched. But this looks more straight up navy
My wife has this similar blue metallic color on her Toyota and I've grown to love it (I guess we are going to be twinsies now). It is like having different paint job on your car/truck depending on light/shade and what angle it hits it you are in ranging from almost Shadow Black to almost Velocity Blue - you can kind of see it in the picture where the front is in the sun and back in the shade how it transitions with how the light hits the metallic flake in the paint. I didn't want (full time) bright blue, but when I saw this was an option I jumped on it.

Not happy about the Pirelli Scorpions. Looks like a summer tire.

My wife and I are both 5'4" so this truck seems roomy enough for the both of us and our kids, who we don't expect to get much taller than us. Unfortunately the friends we go out with are usually tall AF lol. Though I do get serious claustrophobia when I watch some of the YouTube videos and these reviewer guys are huge and try to squeeze in the back seat.
To be perfectly honest a big reason I am moving to a maverick is because My f150 is just too darn big. And I’m never 100% comfortable in the drivers seat. I really like my truck but it’s hard to love it when I’m constantly adjusting my seating position. My wife is 5’ so it’s not the easiest vehicle for her to drive Either. She thought that the maverick would be too small though until I explained that it is 3 inches longer than her 2019 Honda Pilot. Now she is quite excited about the maverick.

Great walkaround video, pics and comments by redditor @UberXLBK!

Got to do a walk around and sit in an Alto Blue, Lariat FX4. I’m 6’2 and so the pictures you see of my pasty white legs are my driving position, and then me sitting behind myself. I can also easily reach into the bed to grab things
Pros: it was bigger than I thought, felt very sturdy and well made. Very comfortable and lots of storage. With the moon roof I still had good head room even with a hat on.
Cons: the water bottle holder is a bit smaller than I thought, a nalgene cant fit. The trainer put the smart water bottle in there and it was snug
Feel free to ask any questions!
Edit: some people on Facebook did math and thinking the ecoboost did about 27.7 mpg

there Have been quite a bit of videos with taller folks in the front, and seems space is good. I will say probably not ideal to be a 6 footer sitting behind a 6 footer, but should be okay for kids.

Why are you making this more difficult

My concern is that the one thing I liked about my previous F-150s was how I'd be higher up and see more of the road (don't get me started on south FL drivers) and the Maverick looks much, much lower to the ground.

Yeah, it seems like it'll sit higher than a car, so probably on par with the normal SUV, but up in the clouds like an F150.
