Parking Brake Fault, Service Now

On Sunday I got the same message when I opened the door, but everything works fine.
Exactly the same thing happened again today... the warning again and go to service...so weird

I was wondering if this may be a result of battery cable failure

Mine said failed it happened after the computer was updated due to the software recall.

Mine disengaged in on a hill and it bounced around I had to hit the brakes. The dealer simply said unable to replicate.

Had an issuse with blinking dash lights unable to replicate. Had a problem with popping noise in speakers unable to replicate. Had issuse with awd fault reduced power unable to replicate. When it rains there is always funky electrical problems. Water is getting in somewhere or loose wires or simply wires that are damaged on install somewhere.

I've had the same warning when opening the door. However, I wasn't using the parking brake.

If you open the door while in any drive mode other than park the parking brake is engaged but the computer.

Could be...the first Mavericks that came on the market had a battery drain problem...maybe it has something to do with it.

I'm also having the same issue, it used to say fault break service now. Dealer reset the master computer and was fine for a little while. Now its popping up Park Break Fault Service Now. I will unlock the car with the remote and open door, and it pops up, By the time I can take a photo of it, it's gone. No errors in my ford app.

I have the same exact same scenario and it's been to back to the dealership 3 to4 times for this same issue. All they are able to tell me is unable to replicate. This time they had it for 2 Weeks and still have it at this point. I've been in contact with Ford Company, and they are saying the same thing unable to replicate.

It just came up for me today. I guess it's good to know that it is just a nuisance warning.
