I gave up after 6 months. Moved on. No regrets. Others waited and enjoyed it when they came. To each their own!Anyone who placed an order in 2021 still waiting for their maverick?

Hope you have better luck than me. Mine hit final rail yard 2/14. Tracking still shows 3/5 est delivery.Ordered 11/16/21 - rollover - just got delivered to final railyard. Hoping dealership has it by end of week
That's interesting. Same build date, but why the difference in projected delivery dates? I'm only a few hours northwest of Cincinnati.Mine was built 2/10 also. My eta is March 3. Truck is in Louisville now, I am in Cincinnati area. 100 miles or so to go. Hoping to get it sooner.
Wow hopefully yours gets picked up soon. My sales person said it usually takes 4-5 days for it to get picked up from the yard it’s at. It’s a big yard so they may get a lot of trucks picking up from there.Hope you have better luck than me. Mine hit final rail yard 2/14. Tracking still shows 3/5 est delivery.
If the dealer is not comfortable reducing the price by the private offer amount, they CAN still file for the private offer and send you a check ( or if it still works the same, Ford will mail the check ).Thanks much for your input. I spoke with Ford Marketing today and this time I was told that the dealer needs to update the address. I did provide mktg. with my old address, both vin's and was able to obtain a transition certificate number. I was told it was up to the dealership if they wanted to accept/honor the cert. Will call the dealer tomorrow.
Thanks for the information. I spoke with Ford Marketing, and they finally gave me the certificate #. They said the dealer can update the COVP. I sent a certified letter to the dealer, to the attention of the sales manager whose name was on the original order in 2021, with a detailed timeline, and six pages of documentation. The letter was sent exactly a week ago and only needed to travel 180 miles. As fate would have it, USPS still has not delivered it and has been sitting in Atlanta for six days. Like so many others, I haven't received a single email from Ford Motor since 10/25/22 when it still was going to be a 2022MY. I'm incredibly disappointed in FoMoCo and the dealership for a lack of communication. The Maverick Hybrid XLT is built and on a railcar somewhere with no delivery date yet.If the dealer is not comfortable reducing the price by the private offer amount, they CAN still file for the private offer and send you a check ( or if it still works the same, Ford will mail the check ).
Dealer is out nothing.
BUT...if dealer files for it do follow up. They could try to keep the rebate/offer. BUT...that requires a form be signed by customer. This form should state which way the rebate/offer is handled. Goes to dealer to reduce price up front, or goes to customer directly.
Almost all customers take the "goes to dealer" rebate as it reduces the amount you pay in taxes. But others...well I have run into a few that take the check and don't tell their significant other about it!
