I've only had mine for a day and already two of my kids have requested to use my Maverick to go to the dump/transfer station. My answer was, "Not until I get my Bedrug."

Thanks, now I'll have to take a closer look at mine, before I get the SIBL on Wednesday. No wonder mine scratched into the primer so easy.Agree.
Effervescent paint.
Ford Myst the mark.
I’ll post a photo(s) soon of what a small Ryobi tool combo cardboard box did to the bed paint on a short drive to my nephew’s house.
Here’s the paint quality/coverage on my tailgate…for your amusement.

That's exactly why I put in a bedrug. No paint scratching involved.Same. I’ll get the SIBL once it starts getting scratched up bad because after all one has to purposely scratch up the bed in order for the spray to adhere. We must scratch up the bed in order to preserve the bed? I’ll just wait.
Perhaps Ford owes a dear customer a free SIBL?Thanks, now I'll have to take a closer look at mine, before I get the SIBL on Wednesday. No wonder mine scratched into the primer so easy.
Not fun, but just get a SIBL and it won't be an issue. Will look cooler as an added bonus.Agree.

Yeah, but I paid extra for the paint color…Not fun, but just get a SIBL and it won't be an issue. Will look cooler as an added bonus.
Kinda surprised more people didn’t think of this…. This was one of the first things I picked up to throw in the under seat storage, can get them from harbor freight for super cheap and they’re pretty durableZERO scratches on mine with 24k miles...because I put down a blanket or something ..and I have hauled quite a bit. Totes would be something that scratches as it slides...gotta be aware...I mean, c'mon...

ROBLIf you have a spare $100 and some time, go DIY. I just finished my roll on kit. Not perfect and I applied very thick, but totally worth every penny. I don’t haul much but the micro scratches were driving me crazy….. I’m also slowly running out of things to do.

https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts/ford-cover_f37z-9943121-a.htmlAnyone know how I can or if I can get just the part in yellow? Look at your tailgate. This panel screws on and off.
I want to drill, screw or weld custom attachments to mine, and be able to revert to stock. Having two panels would be like changing to snow tires: be super convenient for my custom application. So far, I can only find entire tailgate for $1272.
Imagine if you badly scratched or dented just the inside of your tailgate. Would be so nice and easy to replace just this panel.
