I'm not a fan nor in the market for anything EV, but it looks fine appearance wise to me. Imagine it will give the Lightning some strong competition, especially if they can deliver them better/faster than ford has done so far.

It looks like it’s only for people that live in ultra modern homes. Darn!

Seems RAM is taking the Ford approach to an EV PU......keep it very closely resembling your gas version.

Probably a smart move. If you like the current RAM, you'll probably like this as well.

Think I'll keep my Mav tho....

I put my $100 down a few days ago. I'm extremely interested in an electric PU since the Cybertruck first announced. Since that seems to be vaporware and the Lightning is harder to get than the Maverick, I figured I'd go ahead and put my name on whatever list allows me to order one in 2026.

Sorta switched expectations…
Concept vehicles are concepts.

Uggg another $70K+ electric vehicle. Reportedly starting out at $58,000 which we all know is just a teaser not to mention the " market adjustment" . That's my first thought - more thoughts,

If Chrysler can make these in numbers and Fords commitment to build more Lightnings ( another 75K truck ) that would be the end of Rivian.....

The big three automakers really dont care about making an AFFORDABLE electric vehicle. Maybe Canoo really will make a vehicle and my stock will go up - lol -
Driven by technology, Canoo electric vehicles are powered by innovation that puts you in charge.

Will this open the door for another manufacturer say like - Mitsubishi or Kia to produce an EV in the affordable range ?

The ramifications to dealerships with the inevitable coming of more EVs - no more bloated service contracts, tumbleweeds blowing through service departments ( if they can get quality back )

With some states outlawing ICE vehicles in the near future, how will the mass population afford + 70K vehicles .....

Im keeping my $100. Now, what if Dodge came out with a Maverick sized electric truck starting at say $38K or even a PHEV ?? STILL not one real competitor to the Maverick after a 2022 launch - wow

Far as I'm concerned they all can stick these outrageous price EV's where the sun doesn't shine. They'll be plenty of automotive parts, crate engines to keep rolling down the road with. :giggle:

I wonder what the endgame is ... really ? Without getting political - is the public being forced into mass transit ( including self driving autonomous vehicles ) due to elimination of ICE vehicles and the sky high price of the EVs being and planned to be produced ? How many young people can afford an $1100 a month vehicle payment plus insurance and registration - whew ???
