2023 Maverick trailer wiring

I have a 2023 Maverick AWD with the tow package. Has anyone had any problems with the 7 pin plug not working correctly? I plug in any of my trailers and only the turn lights and brake lights work. No running tail lights or marker lights. I hook up my F350 and everything works fine. Dealer can’t figure it out.

Fuse #37 underhood checks good. Any thoughts? The dash display shows the trailer running lights as good, yet no power at the socket.

Yes, tried with both headlights and just taillights, tried both truck running and not. There have been a few threads on "no running lights", but I haven't seen the resolution yet.

Well, after 2 days at the dealer, they need to get Engineering involved. They suspect it has an incorrect harness installed,,,,,

One has to wonder if they used the same harness for both the 4 pin and 7 pin. Oops!

Could be the reason for the constraint on the stand alone hitch?? (Just a guess)

Automate states: the trailer control module that drives the trailer connector. It has micro-chips and some chips are still in short supply.

I thought the same thing but the trailer braking system works fine. And with the 4 pin no braking system.

I only have a 4 pin and I'm not familiar with the 4k tow package. So, do you have both types of connectors?

Since your dealer is befuddled, I suggest contacting Ford directly.

Engineering has given my Dealer instructions on how to run a new circuit back to the socket for the trailer running lights. Can't wait to see how this is accomplished,,,,,
