If that hitch was installed at the factory there should be a four pin connector right next to it
I spotted that but it looks different than my other connectors....thought it might be a Maverick specific deal.

I'll check it out a little closer.

Thanks

Did you buy it new or used? Did you ask the dealer? Check out Curt 56477 plug and play.

4-pin is very universal.

Contains running lamps, right turn, left turn, (both = brake) and a common ground.

No trailer brakes connection on a 4-pin.

Google can help you! 😎

Trailer wiring is pretty simple... I agree. I've built dozens of trailers in the last 50 years.

I was part of a race shop in the 60's/70's where we built car and utility trailers during the winter to finance our stock car racing addiction.

I haven't seen a plug in connector for a four pin plug like the Mavericks have. No wiring harness came with the truck. I'll likely stop at one of my local parts houses to see what is available.

It's likely I'll never tow anything with brakes with this truck. I have two utility trailers, one that I built18 years ago, but both are single axel deals.

My F350 dually can handle the heavy duty stuff.

Next month I have a 500 mile round trip planned to haul my remaining dirt car chassis and parts to Iowa to sell at auction. Won't be more than 1,000lbs of stuff...a bare chassis and some suspension pieces.

I had hoped to build a new car trailer this winter but plate is full right now... leaving for Florida in mid- January then, after mooching off of my relatives fir a couple weeks, we will be headed for Na'leans and Texas for one last visit before I get too old to travel.
