It looks like you can close it without dropping the tailgate?
Yes, you can open and close the tailgate with the cover closed.

Your cover looks great. I've been researching covers for over a month and had decided on the Lomax. Not sure if I want the Stance or Standard though. Also, thinking I might prefer the black urethane finish.

I've got the same cover in the Urethane finish and love mine! Chose it for the same exact reasons you stated. Full uncompromised access to the bed and provides an excellent seal. I've actually yet to find a cover that's as sleek and low profile as this one.

Weird question, I know but trust that there's a reason: can it sit properly flush while turned 90 degrees in the bed?
What do you mean by “turned 90 degrees”? The cover is supported by the rails so it has to sit on them.

Yes, I would like to know what tolerances between bed rail and the included cover rail exist when you turn the cover 90 deg - the Mav bed is supposedly a square. Not asking you to do that ofc, just curious if when you installed you might have noted if it was possible.

Not possible, cover is approx. 53 1/2” wide by 55 1/4” long.

I had been going back and forth as well, but what clinched it for me was how easy the standard model was to remove completely. I don't believe you can prop it up against the rear window like the stance, but being able to take it off easily wins the day for me.

so those rails on the side.... would they get in the way when trying to load something large like a sheet of plywood? not that I do this a lot but one nice thing about the bed of the mav is they made it wide enough to do that.

Plywood sits on the wheel well arches. No cover will prevent you from loading sheets.

Yeah, I was looking at the rails on the sides that stay when you remove the cover. I didn't know if they would kind of get in the way because they suck out into the bed. I get you could probably slide a sheet in under them if they did. Maybe I'm not making any sense.

I bet some clamps prevent how many sheets you can carry. Some of those cheap Amazon covers have plastic handles that stick out pretty far. I see what you're getting at.

Thanks for the pictures. I ordered this cover for my 2025 AWD Hybrid and your pictures helped me see how much it sticks above the cab when it is fully open.

I have the OEM soft trifold cover on my 2022 and wanted to upgrade to a hard cover on the 2025. With a bit of luck the truck and the cover may both be delivered this week 🥳
