Does anyone know the size of the hole that this rubber grommet is stuck into in the pic?

Thinking about the possibility of putting something like one of these boat LED lights in there…

It is kind of high for a drain hole.
Have you considered pulling out the plug and measuring it.
Then you can let us all know what you find.

I've seen a white version of that light at TSC.

people use them for drainage holes for tonneau covers or pass through for wires.

I cannot measure it because I don’t have a Maverick yet. Mine is scheduled to be built.

Yeah, I would likely end up getting a white one (or maybe the red would be neat when doing hunting/fishing stuff at night to save your night vision). The lights are dirt cheap, so once you get the wires ran, it would be easy to try different colors.

That looks to me like a 1/2-inch plug. Use it as a pilot hole and enlarge it to just under 3/4" and you can use those lights as they are. Don't forget to seal them up with something caulk like or a rubber gromet.
